A NOTE FROM OUR CHAIR
The Hanover and District Hospital Foundation is dedicated to raising funds to assist the Hospital to strengthen patient care, further education and acquire the most recent and innovative equipment. Our success is tied directly to the compassionate and generous support of our donors.
As Chair of the Foundation and on behalf of the Board Directors I offer a big thank you to our wonderful community for your continued support, especially during these busy and challenging times with the Covid Pandemic. Our website will provide you with an overview of the projects we are fundraising for and the events that we are hosting in the way of providing donations. Please take a look around and visit often as we keep you up-to-date on our events.
We know how important your health and well-being are to you and your family. We appreciate the trust that you have shown in our hospital by choosing to be cared for at the Hanover and District Hospital (HDH). As a foundation donor you help us in providing the best possible experience in care at HDH and that it is a priority for everyone concerned.
Each year the Foundation makes an annual commitment to the hospital to fund the highest priority capital equipment. This year it is the need to the laparoscopic tower which is essential in providing the surgeon and surgical staff visualization and documentation of procedures they perform to help diagnose a wide range of conditions that develop inside the abdomen or pelvis. It also gives them the capacity for arthroscopy and other rigid endoscopy procedures.
This year the Hanover and District Hospital Foundation is fundraising for $260,000 to purchase and install a brand new laparoscopic tower in our OR. We are sincerely grateful and appreciate all the donations that we receive and we're glad you are here. You are now part of our growing community of donors who work together with us to collaborate and connect with each other help us succeed in our projects.
Again I would like to express sincere thanks to our donors, board members and many volunteers who give their time, money and expertise to ensure our patients and families receive the best health care possible.
